How To Celebrate On A Cancer Journey
From Founder, Denise Albert:
I’m coming off a beautiful and emotional birthday – celebrating my 52nd and 10 years of survivorship. It’s been a journey. I didn’t get to celebrate my 50th the way I had planned, and for a long time, the celebration felt different – smaller, quieter, more complicated.
But this year feels like a return to myself. A reminder that even after the hardest chapters, we can find our way back to joy, to connection, and to marking the moments that matter.
Big & Small
Celebrate anything and everything - big or small, there is always something worth honoring!
Help
Let others show up for you - some of the most meaningful moments come from unexpected love.
Keep It Simple
Keep it simple - sometimes a walk, a meal, or a laugh is enough
Traditions
Create traditions - even during treatment, having something to look forward to matters
Grace
Give yourself grace - celebration can look different in different seasons, and that’s okay
