Donations to Help Cancer

Have you done your spring cleaning yet?  Did you know many non-profits accept your clothes, household items and even your old cars to help those on a cancer journey? Don’t know where to donate?  Don’t have time to drop it off….or do the research?  Here are places that pick up, take small items, large items and everything in between!

American Cancer Society's Discovery shops

American Cancer Society’s Discovery Shop locations aren’t your typical thrift or resale shops. High quality, gently-used, and new merchandise, including collectible and vintage items, are donated by the community then curated and sold in our upscale stores. Purchases, donations of  goods, and volunteers help the American Cancer Society make the biggest impact on cancer ever. Discover the difference by visiting your nearest shop!

We’ve shared about them before.  Donate your luxury clothing to the Cancer Carteland help provide financial relief to “Cancer Warriors”.  They collect and sell donated luxury designer items through our partnership with the RealReal and other luxury resellers.

Plus, join their CLOSET CHALLENGE!  Think of the Ice Bucket Challenge, only with FASHION!
The National Children’s Cancer Society (NCCS) tirelessly and compassionately supports families making their way through the daunting world of childhood cancer.  Their recycling and thrift operations allow you to support the NCCS with a tax-deductible donation of used but reusable clothing and household items. Recycling programs like those of the NCCS are good for the environment and provide a much needed resource for those less fortunate.

Cars For a Cure® Charity Vehicle Donation Program
1 in 2 women and 1 in 3 men will face a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime. You can make a difference for people impacted by cancer. Rather than selling or trading in your used car, truck, SUV, motorcycle, RV, or boat on a trailer, consider donating it to the ACS. Your car donation can help improve the lives of people facing cancer and their families by funding lifesaving research, advocacy, and free patient support programs and services.
